Overview
We propose to explore the rich synergy between mathematics and data that has emerged over the recent years, addressing the connections between machine learning, statistics and optimization on one hand, and probability, geometry, representation theory and harmonic analysis on the other. We believe that the programme will be a venue for fruitful interactions between mathematicians and data scientists that will propel new and interdisciplinary research activities in the years to come.
