The Institute for Mathematical Sciences (IMS), founded in 2000, is a university-level research institute dedicated to fostering both fundamental and multidisciplinary mathematical research. The mission of the Institute is to link mathematics with other disciplines, nurture the growth of mathematical expertise among research scientists, train talent for research in the mathematical sciences, and provide a platform for research interactions between the scientific community in Singapore and the wider international community.
